CCRTD-Core Facilities


The core facilities at Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development (CCRTD) is to provide state-of-the-art research support including instruments, techniques, and related education and training for all investigators and researchers engaged in health-related scientific research in Clark Atlanta University. It now consists of eight research core facilities including Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Histology, Cancer Genomics and Bioinformatics, Proteomics, Structural Biology and Drug Discovery, Biostatistics, and Prostate Cancer Biospecimen Repository Core Facilities. Each core has a faculty adviser in addition to four staff members responsible for the management and maintenance of the core facilities under the leadership of Dr. Valerie Odero-Marah.
